Didn’t use much of it because the style was (for lack of a better word) bad. Buy Kaplan or Princeton (Princeton is the better of the two however Kaplan goes into more detail).

This book has deserved the five stars because it simply tells you what you need to know for the test. It contains practice questions with walkthroughs. It just doesn’t tell u to remember this, it helps u out by making u write in the answere, or practice writing. It is filled with information in a clear, concise, but with some big vocabulary (that benefits you because u learn vocab for the test.
The best part, that other books dont have, is a “cliffnotes or Sparknotes” inside the actual book. It gives u a synopsis and then talks to u about the motifs, and symbols important for the essays. It contains famous books like Invisible man, pride and prejudice, A street care named desire, and many more (only about ten books). The practice test are also great and helpful
so in all, i highly recommend getting this book, like other great Barron’s titles.

i purchased this book to supplement my Ap Psychology class, but as the time went by I never picked it up. The day before the test I read all 300 and some pages. Information was wonderful, if I would have been I responsible student I would have got a 5 with the help of this book, but since I didn’t pick it up till the day before I only got a 3, but that’s all I needed to get the college credit. I would also like to point out that I had taken a diagnostic exam before reading the book and it said I would get a 1, so one day of reading this improved my score 2 points!

1 month of reading this book got me a 3.
I took the ap exam only with the knowledge I gained from a normal psychology class (not an AP class) and through reading 1/3 of this book.
I purchased this book too late to get the full value out of it but I can tell you that the 1/3 I did read, along with common sense, was the sole reason I got a 3. My class taught me nothing. =/
I wish I would have purchased it earlier..then i KNOW I would have gotten a 5.
Get this book at least 3 months prior to your exam and read it all the way through and I guarantee you will get a 4/5.
